CSI Celebrates Growth, Product Innovations at Annual Customer Conference
PADUCAH, KY., Aug. 29, 2012 –Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) (OTCQX: CSVI), a provider of end-to-end technology solutions that empower financial institutions to remain competitive, compliant and profitable, hosted nearly 800 attendees from more than 200 customer banks, vendor partners and prospective institutions August 21-23 in Indianapolis at the company’s annual customer conference.
“CSI has enjoyed an extremely productive year, as we’ve added several innovative products to our current offerings, resulting in the addition of many new customers as well as several key clients choosing to expand their existing relationships with us,” said Steve Powless, CSI’s chief executive officer, during his keynote speech. “We continue to provide banks across the U.S. with dynamic solutions that enable them to compete and maintain strong customer relationships, as they are our most valuable assets.”
CSI announced and previewed several new products at the conference. Among the most anticipated were mobile card management, which allows end users to instantly enable or disable their debit card through their banking app, and a newly designed Internet Banking dashboard to provide bankers with a streamlined view of key metrics within their institution. Additionally, affiliate company ATTUS Technologies, Inc. debuted its social media compliance solution, created to help attendees address regulatory mandates surrounding social media.
Powless also shared the company’s many substantial milestones over the past year, including CSI’s company-wide rebranding and industry repositioning, continued growth of its customer base and company earnings, and expanded focus on new and emerging trends within the financial services industry. As a result of these additions and CSI’s continued focus on implementing new technologies for its growing list of customers, the company experienced record-breaking yearly profits and was recognized by MSPmentor and Talkin’ Cloud as industry frontrunners in cloud technology.
In addition to customers learning more about CSI’s new and existing systems, this year’s conference also included a presentation from Matt Williams, president of Gothenburg State Bank (Neb.) and chairman-elect of the American Bankers Association. Williams educated attendees on the upcoming challenges the financial industry will be faced with as a result of key issues from Washington, including the Dodd-Frank Act and Basel III.
“While the past year has introduced several changes within the financial industry, CSI has focused on staying ahead of each development, keeping their customers’ best interests in mind at all times,” said Williams, whose bank has been a CSI customer for more than 20 years. “Regardless of the ups and downs, I am fully confident that the CSI team will continue providing superior products and services and remain true to the theme of ‘seeing business differently.’”
Conference attendees had the opportunity to participate in an array of workshops, informational training sessions, panel discussions, product demonstrations and other activities that provided further best practices from CSI on IT and security, management, emerging technologies, lending and compliance.
In 2013, CSI will host the event in Chicago on August 5-7 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
