SUMMIT FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS PRESENTS REMITXPRESS AT FREE WEBINAR FOR ELECTRIC COOPERATIVES
|
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (April 14, 2009) - Summit Financial Solutions, Inc., an affiliate company of Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) (OTCQX: CSVI) and the leader in check imaging solutions for financial institutions, will present RemitXpress™ at a free webinar for electric cooperatives.
On April 29, 2009, at 2:00 P.M. CT, Matt Moore, Summit Payments Product Manager, will host a free webinar that will address electric cooperatives’ most time-consuming and critical task – payments processing.
“Electric cooperatives and other utility companies know that manually processing their members’ payments can drain resources,” said Matt Moore, Summit Payments Product Manager. “Sorting payment types, entering data manually into an Accounts Receivable (A/R) system, managing exception payments, prepping checks for deposit, and transporting checks to the bank for deposit, take a lot of time and sometimes a lot of staff.”
Summit’s payment processing solution, RemitXpress™, allows electric co-ops to scan both payment coupons and checks from their member’s payments. The scanning and automated reading of these documents significantly reduces data entry, automates balancing and image repair, creates an accounts receivable file for the co-op’s A/R system, and securely sends an electronic deposit file to the co-op’s bank via the Internet.
“Summit is very excited about the interest we’ve already received about RemitXpress™,” Moore continued. “The time and money savings that come with it are truly valuable to any company with payments to process, especially co-ops.”
