CSI Employees Support Their Communities with More Than 650 Hours of Community Outreach Through “CSI Cares”

PADUCAH, Ky., March 19, 2020 – Employees of Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) (OTCQX: CSVI), a provider of integrated financial technology solutions, have volunteered 661 hours of service to local communities as part of the company’s CSI Cares initiative.

CSI Cares is a company-wide initiative launched in July 2019 to promote and support employees’ efforts to serve the needs of others in their communities. The program grants all CSI employees one extra day of paid time off that they can use to volunteer in a charitable capacity, such as participating in service projects or supporting a favorite nonprofit.

“CSI takes great pride in being a cornerstone of the communities in which we operate, and CSI Cares enables all of us to have a positive impact on the causes that mean the most to each of us,” said David Culbertson, CSI’s president and COO. “CSI Cares lets us serve the needs of others, and further supports our employees’ service mindset.”

Employees have supported local chapters of the Humane Society, the Salvation Army, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, United Way and many more organizations and causes. CSI Cares also provides employees with the option to donate their day of service to another employee who has a unique need for time off, such as extra days for a service or mission project. 

As evidenced by the number of volunteer hours thus far, CSI employees have embraced the chance to further serve their neighbors.

“I am beyond grateful to work for a company that gives us time to volunteer,” said Brenna McAlister, Technical Support III in the Customer Experience Division at CSI. “I chose to volunteer with the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program because of its focus on children. All the gifts we passed out to parents were going to make kids happy on Christmas morning, and it felt good to know I could do my part to help with that.”
