As digital innovation accelerates, financial institutions face an increasingly complex cyber landscape. AI-driven threats, evolving regulatory requirements and the rapid pace of technology are reshaping the risks institutions must manage.
This year’s survey explored not only the cyber risks community institutions see on the horizon, but also their perceptions of institutional readiness, compliance practices, board oversight and budget priorities. The results show strong awareness of emerging risks (especially those fueled by AI) while also revealing areas where institutions may still underestimate vulnerabilities.
