CSI was incorporated on March 16, 1965, beginning our operations with only six employees and three customers. Today, we are one of the nation’s largest partners for financial technology and software, empowering community and regional banks to grow and compete in an evolving landscape.

A History of Service

From the beginning, we’ve always had a vision for the future and a commitment to delivering outstanding service as a strong technology partner. For decades, we have prioritized building relationships, delivering unmatched service and staying ahead of the curve, growing to thousands of customers nationwide and a full suite of technology solutions.

Like our customers and the financial services industry as a whole, we’ve seen plenty of change in our nearly 60 years in business, from increasing regulatory pressure to digital acceleration and the rise of fintech and open banking.

In that time, we’ve partnered with hundreds of community financial institutions and regional banks across the country to meet the evolving needs of account holders, communities and the institutions themselves. We’ve done it through core migrations, open banking integrations, modern payments and lending solutions, AI-enabled regulatory and compliance tools, managed services and cybersecurity.

But our commitment to our customer-first mentality is what truly sets us apart.

We know the value that comes from established relationships that emphasize transparency and integrity. That’s why we embrace them at every opportunity, from our interactions with customers to our decisions about our innovative solutions. Since our acquisition by private equity firms Centerbridge Partners, L.P. and Bridgeport Partners in 2022, we have continued our history of growth with a relentless focus on ambitious innovation and unparalleled customer service.

In January 2024, we announced a strategic investment from TA Associates, a leading global private equity firm. TA joined Centerbridge and Bridgeport in supporting our goal to expand our capabilities while fostering a customer-centric operating philosophy.

Because of this commitment to service, we’re unmatched in relationship-driven financial services. And it’s a foundation on which we will build a better future, deliver even better solutions and rewrite what it means to innovate. Because if our decades of experience have taught us anything, it’s that customers want innovation, but need great service.
